Equipment We Inspect
Wire Rope Slings
Visual inspection for broken wires, corrosion, kinking, bird-caging, and deformation. Verification of ferrules, thimbles, and end terminations. Assessment against discard criteria.
Chain Slings
Link-by-link inspection for wear, stretching, gouges, nicks, cracks, and deformation. Verification of grade markings and Working Load Limit (WLL) tags.
Shackles & Connectors
Inspection of bow and D-shackles, connecting links, and swivels for wear, deformation, pin condition, and proper markings.
Hooks & Lifting Eyes
Inspection of crane hooks, snatch blocks, padeyes, and lifting lugs for cracks, throat opening, twist, and wear. MPI when required.
Webbing & Synthetic Slings
Inspection for cuts, abrasion, UV damage, chemical exposure, heat damage, and stitching integrity.
Spreader Bars & Lifting Beams
Structural inspection of engineered lifting devices, including weld checks, dimensional verification, and MPI of critical connections.
Chain Blocks & Lever Hoists
Functional and visual inspection of manual hoisting equipment including load chain, hooks, brakes, and operating mechanisms.
Turnbuckles & Rigging Hardware
Inspection of turnbuckles, eyebolts, wire rope clips, and other rigging accessories for condition and compliance.
Our Inspection Process
Inventory & Identification
Cataloging all lifting equipment on site, verifying identification numbers, WLL markings, and previous certification records.
Visual & Physical Inspection
Thorough visual and physical examination of each item against specific discard criteria defined in applicable standards. Checking for damage, wear, deformation, and corrosion.
NDT When Required
Performing MPI or DPT on critical components such as crane hooks, padeyes, lifting lugs, and shackle pins when specified by standards or client requirements.
Color Coding & Tagging
Applying the current period color code to all equipment that passes inspection, and quarantine-tagging any rejected items for removal from service.
Certification & Reporting
Issuing individual certificates for each item inspected, plus a comprehensive summary report of all equipment status. Maintaining a lifting equipment register for the client.
